A Windows application which is a centralized system to monitor and maintain the environmental parameters such as temperature, pH value of the tank systems in order to provide a suitable environment for corals with customization and flexibility.

Coral Club Facebook Application

An interactive Facebook application, which users can participate in the preservation of marine lives through fun and interesting activities such as Adopt-a-coral, news and events about corals, live MSN chatting with marine biologists and so on. The aim of the application to raise public awareness towards corals.

Confero is a smart car system which saves our environment by aiding drivers to reduce fuel usage and time spent on the road. Combining different sensory equipment, Confero transforms your car into a smart car. Below are 3 of the many innovative features of Confero:

    •   o Guides you to accelerate gently
    •   o Tells you the optimum speed to drive for maximum fuel efficiency.
  • • Decision Making (Save Fuel)
    •   o Analyzes data from other users and determine which brand of fuel/tyres gives maximum fuel efficiency.
  • • Intelligent Route Planning (Save Fuel and Time)
    •   o An advanced GPS route navigation system, which avoids heavy traffic/jams and bad weather conditions advises users to take public transport in case of bad traffic/weather conditions.

App/Sol Name: EMS (Environment Monitoring System)

Description:

Air pollution is the problem we want to tackle. Monitoring is the most important in dealing with air pollution. We’ve come up with ‘EMS’. A low cost, self sustainable, monitoring robot that monitors the environment and sends data about the air quality back to the command centre with its multi sensor device. It also has a webcam which allows the user to get real-time images of what the robot is seeing. The robot can be tracked on Microsoft Virtual Earth using GPS. It can run on two modes, autonomous and control. It uses solar panel as it is clean energy.
